Meet Monica

Monica Arpino is a Journalism & Public Affairs graduate student at American University in Washington, D.C.

Before joining American University, she supported Military Health System clients at a mid-sized Government contracting firm.  Her responsibilities ranged from proposal writing and acquisition strategy to human resources and budgets.

Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Monica is a veritable DC local.  She earned her BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the George Washington University.

In her free time, Monica enjoys Zumba, a steaming cup of chai tea, and spending time with her fat cat Olive.
